Andrea and Kevin’s big day was straight out of a fairy tale. The Rustic Grace Estates in Van Alstyne was the perfect setting for the merging of this blended family. I received a call literally 24 hour prior to the wedding, to provide, day of coordination services. Of course, I was fully up for the challenge. I packed up my wedding day emergency suitcase, and started preparing for any and every circumstance, that may arise.

“The true work” began early on wedding day, where I wore the hats of coordinator, designer, friend, liaison and florist, yes…. even florist! Staring at buckets of white roses, baby breath, thistle and eucalyptus, I reminded myself, “You got this”. After the arrangements were complete, and the church and barn were decorated, it was time to check and make sure all the vendors were ready to make the night one that the no one would forget! From the beautiful charcuterie table, to the perfect tunes from the Dj, down to the sweet smell of the smoked brisket. The  wedding was everything the couple had dreamed and hoped for.

The “true icing on the cake”, no pun intended! Came at the end of evening, with the brides pre-teen son, who by the way is a pretty shy kid. Came up to thank me and said, “I have never seen my mom so happy. Thank you so much for everything you did to make tonight happen”. These are the moments of why I do what I do, and enjoy making such memorable moments you will forever cherish.
